After Weight Loss. Now What?!

“How do I lean out when I’ve already been eating better and exercising?  I’ve lost weight but how do I KEEP it off?”

You know eating in a calorie deficit isn’t sustainable.  By learning to lift weights and increasing your food wisely you CAN look leaner and eat MORE.

Just ask SiS Jenn 💪 who after 90-Days of training with Sisters In Shape eats MORE and lifts like a BADASS.

Jenn had begun her transformation with the commitment to rise to her best self after a tough change – the end of a marriage.  “I decided to make this a break-over and not a break-apart for myself.  I knew I could go two ways… up or down.  I chose up.”

Losing 17lbs on her own through tracking her food and regular exercise (primarily cardio), Jenn was unsure how to adjust what she was doing to continue her success.  She knew she wanted to become stronger and get in the best shape of her life.  But also knew she couldn’t continue eating in a calorie deficit forever.

Coach Erica showed Jenn how to lift weights more regularly and heavier.  By blending technical form guidance, progressive technique coaching, and tapping into Jenn’s natural grittiness and drive to rise, this 5’0” mighty mouse went from 20lbs squats to now 125lbs for her barbell squat (which is lifting 115% of her bodyweight!!).

“It’s the best way to start a morning, racking up the barbell and doing more than I ever thought capable of doing.  It’s like, if I can do this, I wonder what I’m capable of?” says Jenn.

By learning how to intuitively eat, trust herself and trust her body has given Jenn more freedom and confidence.  She knows she can enjoy food and not overindulge. Jenn learned how to:

  • Stop tracking her food and maintain her weight.

  • Eat more calories daily and maintain her weight.

  • Lose a few pounds to lean down & reveal new muscle tone, and

  • Significantly increase her strength while maintaining her weight.

“When I spoke to Jenn at our initial consultation, I could tell she had a fire within that just needed to be given space to grow.” Says her Coach Erica. “Her commitment to her workouts (always 5 AM and never missed) as well as the joy in which she approaches this process inspires me too.  I can’t wait to see what she does next as I can tell she’s just getting started!”
